“dû à l'usure” v.2, is a piece that projects a canvas of phonetic noises and percussive rhythmic models in large repetitive, phrasal units. The female voice along with the percussionist formulate a noise-based phonetic construct that establishes the rhythmical and timbral archetypes of the piece. Repetitiveness and minimalistic mechanisms forge large structural shapes in a process of inevitable decay. This second and final version of the piece is dedicated to the TAK ensemble.
